Sunday, May 6TH MAY DAY
Join in the festivity today! A wonderful service, lively music and dance, and an uplifting Communion experience. The morning message is entitled “Choosing Love” and is based on John 15:9-17
Sunday, May 13th MOTHERS DAY
“Letting Go and Letting God” is the sermon on this celebration day. We honor moms and motherhood and all the maternal instincts that continue to raise up the Church. A lovely, inspiring service is planned, guided by the gospel record of Jesus’ great prayer as found in John 17:6-19.
Sunday, May 20th PENTECOST and RECONCILING SUNDAY
Today we celebrate again the coming of the Holy Spirit, and our spirit-guided choice to value inclusiveness and broad compassion as a Reconciling Congregation. The Pentecost text is Acts 2:1-21; the homily will be called “A Reconciling Spirit”, and members of the Reconciling Ministries Team will also be sharing inspirational words.
Sunday, May 27th MEMORIAL DAY SUNDAY
We honor our war dead and celebrate our spiritually reborn on this festive day. The guiding scripture comes from 2 Corinthians 4: 7-12, and the message will be called “Resonant and Resilient”.
Our Purpose is to ENGAGE people in joyful relationships with God and with each other, so we will GROW in Christ-like compassion, and SHARE the blessings of the Holy Spirit.
