UMW May Report

Don’t forget the Mother’s Day Tea on Saturday, May 5th, in Hadley Hall from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. This is for all women and guests of the church, including our young women and children. Bring your mother, daughter, sister, aunt, good friend—all are invited. This is a wonderful way to honor those we love and admire.

UMW will be providing the Vacation Bible School Tuesday meal—a pizza dinner. If you’d like to help serve the meal or make veggie snacks or cookies, contact Lucille Wanee @ 342-9017. We purchase ready-to-bake pizza and it is baked by our faithful David Haynes.

UMW’s summer social will be on Friday, June 29th, at Patrick Ranch. We will have a tour of the home and a picnic. Watch for more details.

Work is progressing on the Christmas bazaar. However, a general chairman is needed. This is basically an oversight job. Contact Lucille if you would be willing to serve in this capacity. Lots of help is available.

SEWING GROUP: There will be a meeting May 7, Monday @ 10AM in the Library. Refreshments will be included. Please bring your projects, especially the Tea Towels. Contact Neva Wacker for questions.
