TUMC Church/Society News
Thanks to all who have been purchasing coffee, tea and chocolate from our Hadley Hall Table each Sunday, Church/Society was able to donate $500 to CHAT for use in the continuing construction of Everhart Village. Dan Everhart was a tireless worker in spite of his wheelchair confinement and Chico was a better place because of his involvement. He was a friend to quite a few of our congregation and is sorely missed after his untimely death a few years ago. We are delighted to be a part of his legacy at Everhart Village. CHAT is planning to put plaques on the houses recognizing TUMC and all the other groups and individuals who donated toward the tiny houses.
You will find a full coverage of the Village at https://www.chicohousingactionteam.net/everhart-village.
We also have been able to continue support of 6th Street Youth for change each month as our First Sunday food offering continues to have wonderful success due to the participation of our our congregation. You will find more about 6th Street at https://www.youth4change.org/6th-st-center.
Thank you all at Trinity. We are truly blessed by your presence and presents.
