Empty Bowls event
Soup and support: Chico’s True North Housing Alliance is gearing up for its wonderful Empty Bowls fundraiser, scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Tickets are on sale now!True North operates the Torres Community Shelter—Chico’s longest-serving, year-round congregate shelter—and this is the organization’s 22nd annual event!
Attendees get to take home their very own handcrafted pottery bowl made by a Chico Unified student or a Torres Shelter guest. They also get a delicious soup and bread dinner. Empty Bowls takes place at the Pleasant Valley High School Cafeteria, 1475 East Ave. in Chico, and there are two dinner seatings available.For more info and to purchase tickets, visit truenorthbutte.org.
