Parsonage Yard Clean Up Hour-ish: 6/9 at 9am
There will be a work day, which will not take all day, at the parsonage next Saturday, June 9, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
If you are new, or just haven’t been on the parsonage clean up crew before, call Pastor Dave at the office to get the address. It’s a couple blocks from the church.

For good or for ill, we are not a denomination that tells you, in clear bullet points, what you must believe to be a follower of Jesus. But a consequence of that is that, unless we are quite clear about what we really think and believe, we may find other Christians incomprehensible, reprehensible, or worse. And that is just the other Christians! In the larger world it is even more important to own our self understandings about the Divine and our relationships that flow from that primary pairing, because they color and inform literally everything we do. We may not be able to change the minds or hearts of others, but we really need to know our own minds and hearts.
Shasta Family Camp Scholarships and Camping Equipment Available
Shasta Camp is July 21-27, 2018. Trinity has funds that are specified for camping scholarships. Are you interested? See David Haynes or Pamela Beeman! Need to borrow camping equipment? Molly Knappen can outfit a family of five+. There is nothing stopping your family from going this year.
ed note: This is always a good time- even that year with the wasps. It is worth the hassle of getting the time off. Camp can be prorated. Bring your family for just a day or two if you can’t swing the whole week.

An Update from Katherine Parker
Katherine Parker is serving with the Health Team of the United Mission to Nepal and is sponsored in part by Chico Trinity UMC. She sends regular updates of her work and speaks to our congregation every few years. More information is on the bulletin board outside Hadley Hall.
